Northern Ireland is home to one of the oldest licensed distilleries in the world, Bushmills. The region produces single malt whiskey known for its smooth texture and balanced character, often showing flavours of fruit, vanilla and gentle spice. While the industry here is smaller than in Scotland or the Republic of Ireland, it has a long and respected whiskey-making tradition.
